Journey that awaits you

Our Norwegian team is expanding, and we’re now looking for someone to take the lead on accounting and reporting for approximately 20 Norwegian entities within Citycon, one of the Nordics’ top property investment companies.

In this role you’ll be focusing on the Norwegian entities within Citycon, meaning you won’t be juggling multiple different clients or switching hats all day. Instead, you’ll be the steady hand behind the scenes, making sure everything adds up and gets delivered on time.

In practice you will:

• Prepare annual and interim financial statements for a group of Norwegian real estate companies.
• Ensure everything is done by the book (Norwegian accounting and tax laws, of course).
• Be the go-to for auditors, tax advisors, and the internal finance team.
• Help keep things running smoothly with financial statements and tax reporting, setting up strong processes and documentation.

While Citycon is an international group, this role focuses fully on their Norwegian entities, so no cross-border tax rules or international reporting standards to worry about here.

Keys to success in this role

To succeed in this position, we expect you to have:

• Extensive experience in Norwegian accounting and independently preparing financial statements and tax reporting.
• Comfortable with Norwegian VAT and tax (VAT adjustment rules, corporate tax, etc.).
• Speak Norwegian and English fluently.
• Enjoy a tidy balance sheet, clear deadlines, and a team that has your back.

You don’t need to know everything, but it’s very meritorious if you have:

• Expertise in real estate or property investment.
• Experience working with Workday as an accounting system and Maestro for financial statements.
• Experience working with multiple legal entities.
