About the position
As the leading NetSuite Solution and most accredited partner in Europe, we have experienced significant successes and growth, and we are now anticipating similar growth within our BI & Planning tool for all key business requirements. In the role of Sales Executive - Financial BI & Planning, you will be at the forefront of promoting implementations and licenses of our new BI & Planning tool. Working closely with colleagues (fellow Starians), you will:
- Prospect
- Drive the sales process forward
- Participate and engage in demos
- Create offers and agreements
- Plan implementations
- Attend fairs and business events to market our solution
We value proactive engagement, in this position, you will serve as an ambassador for our product and connect with potential customers through various platforms. You will be responsible for the whole sales process, paving the way for our continued growth.
While this position is fully remote, we are specifically seeking candidates located in the UK. This role will involve business travel as and when required, for prospect/customer on-site deal management, head office meetings (not regular), attendance at internal team meetings and participation in company/marketing events.
Who are we looking for?
To succeed in this role, we believe that you have an interest in building something new and being an important part of the product’s growth in the market. Having an extensive background in sales, within financial services, systems, or other similar solutions (e.g., ERP, consolidation tools, Business Intelligence, BI tools, SaaS products with a financial focus), is a major advantage for this position.
An understanding of fundamental financial administration, accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting is beneficial. This knowledge will come in handy as you'll be initiating collaboration with high-level decision-makers, including CFOs. Your ability to comprehend their challenges and present solutions driving their business forward is the key to success in this role.
An interest in growth companies and business acumen is beneficial for successfully navigating the industry effectively. As we work with longer sales cycles, a systematic way of working and perseverance are crucial in this role.
